Beaches are all public and are open throughout the season. Public Access can
be found almost each block and badges can be purchased for the day. Come early
to claim your spot for the day! Enjoy a book while relaxing to the fresh ocean
breeze.
Seaside
Heights charges a beach fee to help defray expenses related to providing
visitors one of the cleanest and safest public beaches on the East Coast.
Beach
Badges are in effect May 15th - September 15th
Daily fee - $8
Weekly badge - $35
(Sunday through Saturday)
Season badge - $45
if purchased on or before May 15th
Season badge - $60
if purchased after May 15th
Senior Citizen
season badge - $10 for persons 65 years of age and older
Children 11 years
of age and under -freeevery
day
Active and retired
military personnel and their dependents -freeevery
day with the appropriate Common Access Card, Uniformed Services ID Card, DD
Form 214, or Veterans Benefit ID Card issued by the VA.

I
lost my season beach badge. Can I obtain a
replacement at no cost?
No.
You will need to purchase a new season
badge at full price.
Can
I bring a cooler onto the beach?
Yes.
Small size coolers are permitted on the
beach. However, a beach attendant may
inspect your cooler for glass bottles and
alcoholic beverages-neither of which are
permitted on the beach.
I
forgot my season badge at home? Can I get on the beach
if I present ID?
No.
Beach attendants have no way to match your
ID with a season beach badge.
It
started to rain after I paid for a beach
pass. Can I obtain a refund?
No.
All beach pass sales are final.
Do
you have showers on the Boardwalk?
Yes.
Showers are located at Webster
Avenue on the Boardwalk.
I
need a wheelchair to get onto
the beach, where could I go to
get one?
Please
visit the Visitor's
Center at Blaine Avenue to
obtain a beach wheelchair.
I
am over 21 years of age. Can I drink alcoholic
beverages on the beach?
No.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the
beach except as part of an approved
special event.
I
lost my Senior Citizen VIP pass. Can I
obtain a replacement?
Yes,
but there is a replacement fee of $10.
Can
my pet accompany me onto the ocean beach?
Pets
are not permitted on the ocean beach
except as part of Dog Royalty Days on
August 1st and August 29th, 2017.
Can
I swim when lifeguards are off-duty?
No.
Swimming is permitted only when lifeguards
are on duty.
Can
I pay for a beach pass with a credit card
or debit card?
Not
at the present time. Cash sales only.
Can
I order a season badge online?
Not
at the present time.
Can
I spend the overnight hours on the beach?
Visitors
must leave the beach by 10 p.m. except
during authorized special events.
